Jorge Antunez
Founder & Partner
Jorge is a senior executive with 25+ years of experience in strategy, relationships management, and go-to-market programs for technology companies. Through his career he has carried go to market responsibility for multiple geographies.
Prior to Spur, Jorge was VP of Sales -Americas at Creativesystems, and was a key leader driving growth leading to an acquisition by Tyco Corporation. Before that, Jorge was Global Director, Strategic Alliances and Partnerships at Avery Dennison - Retail, Brand and Information Solutions, where he led global technology partnerships. He pioneered the utilization of IoT with Big Data driving superior customer experience in the stores.
Prior to that, Jorge held senior business development roles at Research In Motion, CGI, Sun Microsystems and Forte Software. He was part of the BOSS team at Sun - a well-known group responsible for positioning Java as de facto language and technology for Telecom solutions. He was hired to lead the Convergence Communication Practice at CGI.
Jorge began his career as a developer at GMD. His technical experience combined with strong management skills allowed him to lead the international expansion of the company.
With a passion for Tennis, Jorge lives in the beautiful city of Milton, GA with his wife and daughter. He has a Systems Engineer degree and an MBA from Emory University .
